Ms. Matsuki was a highly respected piano teacher for many years while also performing on occasion. In a review of a 1922 concert given by the Chromatic Club, Buffalo, NY, "The Musical Leader", Volume 43, printed "The pianist, Tsuya Matsuki, is a brilliant technicist, has a clear, crisp staccato, and plays her numbers with fluency."
Nola Recording Studios occupied the penthouse at the Steinway Building, 111 West 57th Street, in New York City for 75 years until early 2014.
